Bulacan Police yields gun and ammos from former cop, 10 more arrested

CAMP General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos- Bulacan police operatives arrested eleven individuals through implementation of a search warrant and series of police anti-drug operations on March 17, 2023.

 

Based on the report received by PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, the suspect, identified as Emmanuel Amutan, dismissed police officer from Paliwas, Obando Bulacan, he was arrested in a search warrant implemented by joint operation of CIDG RFU3 and Obando Police Station.

Recovered were one (1) 9 mm pistol loaded with six (6) full metal ammunitions and eight ( 8 ) hollow point live ammunitions.

After the discovery of the said firearm and ammunition, the respondent admitted that the confiscated firearm is a PNP issued firearm from when he was still an active PNP member.

The procedure was done in a peaceful manner in the presence of his immediate family and witnesses.

Meanwhile, in a series of anti-drug busts conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEUs) of Angat and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station, The suspects were identified as Elmer Binuya (34) of Angat, Bulacan, Rolina Manuel (46) of Angat, Bulacan, Miracle Groyon (43) of Sto. Cristo, Angat, Bulacan, Joselito Nocelo (48) of Tungkong Mangga, CSJDM, Bulacan and John John Eliaz (23) of Gaya-Gaya, CSJDM, Bulacan. Seized were twelve (12) sachets of suspected shabu with a total DDB value of forty four thousand eight hundred eighty (PHP 44,880.00), drug paraphernalia, a coin purse, and buy-bust money.

 

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

 

Meanwhile, six (6) persons wanted by law were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest in different pursuit operations conducted by the tracker team of Malolos, Baliwag, Bulakan, Calumpit, and Marilao. They were arrested for violations of Estafa, qualified theft, and ecological solid waste management. All accused are now under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
