CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) joins the PNP in the commemoration of its 120th Police Service Anniversary held at the PRO3 Grandstand, Camp Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga with Mayor Sara Duterte- Carpio, as the Guest of Honor and Speaker with Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando as the Keynote Speaker on October 4, 2021.
Based on the records of the National Historical Commission, Police Service as an institution takes its roots from the Insular Police Force that was created on August 8, 1901.
This year’s 120th Police Anniversary theme: “Hangad na Kalinisan sa Kapulisan, Kapaligiran at Komunidad; Ibayong Gampanan para sa Pangkapulisang Integridad” aptly manifests the PNP and PRO3’s continuing partnership for sustained proficiency and excellence in law enforcement towards a stable peace and order particularly in Region 3.
In his message, Bulacan Governor Fernando said that for the longest time the PNP has been a lasting partner of the government for peace, prosperity and security and despite many criticisms and backlashes the organization remains steadfast in fulfilling its mandated tasks of serving and protecting the communities.
Hon Mayor Duterte-Carpio in her message read by PRO3 Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano De Leon lauded the men and women of PRO3 for continuously doing their jobs efficiently.
She further said that all PNP personnel should re-affirm their commitment to police service and should keep on serving the Filipino people with unfaltering perseverance and devotion.
Special recognition were given to Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo and other PRO3 Command Group and Staff to include PCol. Fitz Macariola, regional company battalion commander of Regional Mobile Force Company Battalion; PCol Allan Manibog, former Chief, Regional Operations Division and PLtCol Soledad Elefanio, Chief, Regional Public Information Office 3.
Among the individual awardees were: Best Senior PCO for Administration- PCol Romell Velasco; Best Senior PCO for Operations PCol Lawrence Cajipe; Best Junior PCO for Administration – PMaj Mark Louie Sigua; Best Junior PCO for Operations PMaj Aris Gonzales; Best Senior PNCO for Administration – PSMs Jewelle T Rivera; Best Senior PNCO for Operations – PCMS Abraham Ancheta; Best Junior PNCO for Administration; PSSg Mary Joy C Fernandez; Best Junior PNCO for Operations- PCpl Miriam L Lapurga; Best NUP (Supervisory Level)- NUP Marie Flor A De Guzman and Best NUP (Non-Supervisory Level) – NUP Ayla Joy DC Dela Cruz.
Meanwhile, the following units were also awarded: Best Police Provincial Office- Pampanga PPO; Best City Police Office – Olongapo CPO; Best Component City Police Station – San Fernando CPS, Pampanga PPO; Best Municipal Police Station – Mariveles MPS, Bataan PPO; Best City Police Station- Station 1, Olongapo CPO; Best Provincial Mobile Force Company- 2nd PMFC, Pampanga PPO and Best City Mobile Force Company CMFC, Olongapo CPO.
