CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A high-value drug personality (HVI) listed by PDEA was arrested in an anti-illegal drug operation in San Rafael, Bulacan late Monday night, April 27, 2026.
The suspect, a 59-year-old man, was caught at around 10:40 PM in Brgy. Capihan during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
Seized during the operation were around 158 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱1,079,160.00. Also recovered were the marked buy-bust money and a black belt bag used in the transaction.
The suspect and the confiscated evidence were brought to Doña Remedios Trinidad MPS for proper documentation and disposition. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 are now being prepared.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Jess B. Mendez said the arrest highlights the continued push of law enforcement against illegal drugs in line with the PNP Focused Agenda of the PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr.
“Patuloy ang ating pinaigting na kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga. Hindi natin hahayaang makapaminsala sa ating mga komunidad ang mga high-value targets,” RD Mendez said.
He also urged the public to stay vigilant and to keep supporting police efforts by reporting suspicious activities.
