On October 14, 2025, NBI Region 3, headed by Atty. Renoir Baldovino, nabbed 21-year-old Senior High School student Sheila Gonzales, allegedly behind the bomb threat against F.G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School.
Gonzales used a ‘dummy’ Facebook account with the name “Miles Manunulat” to send a false bomb threat to the school.
It can be recalled that on October 9, 2025, Congressman Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. sought the assistance of NBI in identifying the perpetrators behind the false bomb threats targeting schools in the First District.
Lazatin warned other perpetrators of the hoax bomb threat scare to immediately stop their activity.
“With NBI onboard, you will be arrested,” Lazatin warned.
The NBI was assisted by Pandan Barangay Captain Cors Alejandrino and staff.
