FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. filed House Resolutions No. 331 and 332 on October 6, 2025 congratulating Cheian Kurt Robles and Rheanne Kylie Dizon for both winning Gold Medals each in the 13th Royal Princess Cup International Taekwondo Championship in Bangkok, Thailand from September 25 to 28, 2025.
Robles, a student from Jocson College in Balibago, Angeles City, is a resident of Barangay San Isidro, Magalang. He won two gold medals in the sparring and speed-kicking categories.
Meanwhile, Dizon, a student of Children of Fatima School, Inc., is a resident of Barangay Atlu Bola, Mabalacat City. She won a gold medal in the Kyorugi category of the competition.
“I am very proud of our young Kapampangan athletes who continuously bring pride and honor to our country through their exemplary skill and talent,” Lazatin said.
Lazatin met with Robles and Dizon on October 6, 2025 at his District Office to personally award them with Certificates of Recognition and cash incentives.
The 1st Royal Princess Cup was held in Thailand back in January 8, 2011.
In this year’s competition, approximately 300 Taekwondo athletes from various countries in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, participated.
Robles is a member of Jeong’s Taekwondo Team based in Angeles City, while Dizon is a member of R&R Taekwondo Academy Team based in Mabalacat City.
