Guiguinto town dances to the top of Indakan sa Kalye 2025

GUIGUINTO REIGNS SUPREME IN INDAKAN SA KALYE. CITY OF MALOLOS – Guiguinto town bagged all major prizes as they danced to the top and bested 12 other teams during the Indakan sa Kalye 2025 held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in this city yesterday.

 

The dancers from Guiguinto took home the 1st place, Best in Costume, and Best in Street Dancing awards and received trophies and a total of P210,000 cash prizes.

 

Governor Daniel R. Fernando highlighted that the art of dancing is timeless, has no age or time preference, and can be enjoyed by everyone.

 

“Sa gitna ng mga pagbabago sa ating panahon, mahalaga na ang ganitong mga tradisyon ay naipapakilala at naipapamana sa ating kabataan upang kanilang maunawaan, maisapuso, at maipagpatuloy sa makabagong henerasyon,” the governor said.

 

Other Indakan sa Kalye winners include Santa Maria who secured the 2nd place and received P100,000 cash prize; and Plaridel who placed third and got P80,000 of cash prize.

 

Meanwhile, the groups from Calumpit, Bulakan, and San Rafael were given consolation prizes worth P35,000 each.

 

In addition, all contenders received P30,000, a gesture of the Provincial Government to thank all those who took part in the activity.
