Bulacan welcomes PMAP Luzon leaders during Singkaban Festival

CITY OF MALOLOS – The Province of Bulacan played host to the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) 2025 Luzon Regional Summit, gathering top leaders and human resource professionals across Luzon during the annual Singkaban Festival, the province’s grand celebration of culture, history, and heritage.

With the blend of thought-provoking discussions and cultural immersion, the PMAP Luzon Summit uniting PMAP chapters from Baguio, Bicol, CALABARZON, Isabela, La Union, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac, and Bulacan, successfully underscored the province’s role as a hub for both heritage and progress.

PMAP Bulacan President Atty. Lilibeth Carao welcomed the participants in the province of beautiful women, poets, and national heroes, and delivered her speech in Tagalog to honor the great province.

“Habang patuloy na nagbabago ang panahon sanhi ng digital transformation at pagkakabukod-bukod ng iba’t ibang henerasyon, ang hamon sa atin ay ang mas mahigpit na ugnayan sa ating kapwa tao, na higit kailan pa man ay napakahalaga na gampanan sa mga organisasyon o kumpanya,” she said.

The first day of the summit held at Acro Residences in Guiguinto last September 4 featured timely conversations revolving around their theme “From Potential to Power: AI and Tech as Catalysts for Filipino Talent,” including “Unleashing Filipino Ingenuity in the Age of AI” by PMAP National President Lydia Lily Quintans; “Building Ethical and Empathetic Workplaces” by Ma. Ivy Zaldariagga of Asalus Corporation/Intellicare and Rizza Cantre of RCC Management Consultancy Services; and “Mental Health in the Tech Age: Navigating the Human Impact of AI Disruption” by Dr. Pauline Quimson, MWell Mind Health Coach.

Also, the summit tackled “Human + AI: Shaping Ethical, Empowering Workplaces in the Philippines” by Jiji Lara of Alsons Power Group, Atty. Maria Anthonette Velasco-Allones of NLEX Corporation, and Mark Enrick Hernandez of Pacific Roadlink Logistics, Inc.; “V.I.T.A.L. Vaccination in the Active Labor Force” by Dr. Carmenchu Marie Echieverri-Villavicencio, an infectious disease expert; and “Building Worldclass Talent for Borderless Future”, the closing keynote of Engelbert Camasura, CEO of PM Consulting.

Meanwhile, the second day of the summit was spent by the delegates with a Pasyal Saya sa Bulacan heritage tour in the Hiyas ng Bulacan Museum, Barasoain Church, and Casa Real Shrine. They also visited the Bulacan Food Fair and Exposition (BUFFEX) 2025 for Bulacan products and pasalubongs.
