ANTI-DRUG DRIVE NETS 3 DRUG PERSONALITIES IN TARLAC, OLONGAPO

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – In a series of intensified anti-drug operations, Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) continues to make significant strides in its campaign against illegal drugs, with two successful buy-bust operations resulting in the arrest of three drug personalities and the confiscation of more than PHP 580,000 worth of suspected shabu.
 
In Tarlac City, operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Tarlac City Police Station arrested “Tot,” a 45-year-old drug-listed individual, at about 1:03 AM on July 23, 2025, in Brgy. San Isidro. Ablang.
 
Confiscated from the suspect were one heat-sealed plastic sachet and one knot-tied ice bag containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, with a total weight of 59.56 grams and an estimated standard drug price of PHP 400,006.00.
 
Also recovered were a genuine PHP 1,000 bill used as marked money, boodle money, an Android cellphone, PHP 494 in cash, a light brown pouch, and a green Toyota Corolla.
 
Meanwhile, in Olongapo City, operatives from Police Station 3 arrested two suspects listed under the Street-Level Individuals (SLI) watchlist during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Pag-Asa. The suspects yielded 26.521 grams of suspected shabu,  worth PHP 180,342.80.
 
PBGen Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr., RD, PRO3 praised the operating teams for their swift and effective actions and stated that, “These accomplishments clearly show our strengthened fight against illegal drugs throughout Central Luzon. We are dedicated to dismantling drug networks, from the community level to the highest levels of leadership. We will continue to be relentless.”
 
He further called on the public to take an active role in the fight against illegal drugs:
“Our communities are our best partners. We urge everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities. Together, we can build a drug-free and safer Central Luzon.”
