Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Naaresto sa isang follow operation ng Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) ang isa sa dalawang suspek na bumaril at nakapatay sa dalawang pulis noong Sabado ng tanghali.
Kinilala ni Bulacan PPO director Satur Ediong ang naarestong suspek sa alias “Dado”, 38, residente ng Bunsuran, Pandi, Bulacan.
Pinaghahanap naman ang kasamahan nitong suspek na si alias “Athan”. Kapwa sila responsable sa pagpatay sa dalawang Bocaue Police na sina Police Staff Sergeants Dennis Cudiamat and Gian George Dela Cruz.
Nakumpiska sa suspek ang isang caliber .38 revolver, isang hand grenade, Rusi 125 motorcycle boodle money bills na ginamit sa buy bust operation.
Nahaharap sa kasong Violations of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code, R.A. 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives), at double murder ang mga suspek.
Kinondena naman ni PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 ang naganap na pag-atake at pagpaslang sa 2 pulis at tiniyak nito na makakamit ng mga biktima ang hustisya.
“The Philippine National Police will relentlessly pursue all those responsible for this heinous attack. We will not rest until justice is served. This act of violence against our personnel will not go unpunished, and we will ensure that the full force of the law is brought down upon the perpetrators,” wika ni Fajardo.
“We mourn the tragic deaths of our brave police operatives who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting the public. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, and we assure them of our support during this difficult time. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten,” aniya pa.
Magugunita na nagsasagawa ng buy bust operation ang mga pulis sa Sitio Tugatog, NIA Road, Brgy. Tambubong, Bocaue, Bulacan, bandang alas-12:00 ng tanghali kung saan nauwi sa madugong engkuwentro na ikinasawi ng 2 pulis.
