Joint police operations in CL lead to multiple arrests

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) scored significant successes in separate operations in Pampanga and Bulacan on January 21, Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of suspects involved in illegal activities.
In Pampanga, operatives from the 302nd Mobile Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 (RMFB3), in coordination with the Magalang Municipal Police Station and the Naval Intelligence and Security Group-Northern Luzon, arrested a suspect identified as alias “Jom” during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Sta. Lucia, Magalang, Pampanga at around 11:58 PM.
Confiscated from the suspect were one (1) caliber .22 pistol without a serial number, three (3) live rounds of ammunition, and PHP 1,000 in marked money used in the transaction. “Jom” is now facing charges for violations of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and the Omnibus Election Code.
Meanwhile, in Bulacan, joint personnel from the Hagonoy Municipal Police Station and the Bulacan Provincial Intelligence Unit foiled a robbery at an Alfa Mart convenience store in Barangay San Agustin, Hagonoy at about 5:05 AM of the same day. Four suspects, including a store employee who conspired with the group, were arrested.
Follow-up operations in Barangay Longos, Calumpit, Bulacan led to the recovery of PHP 59,000 in stolen money. The suspects are now facing criminal charges for their involvement in the robbery.
PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, commended the operatives for their swift actions, saying, “These successful operations demonstrate the commitment of PRO3 to combat criminality and ensure the safety and security of the public. We will continue to intensify our efforts against all forms of lawlessness to maintain peace and order in the region.”
