Kakampinks launches IM15M

IM15M for KiBam in 2025
In an effort to win Senate seats for former senators Kiko Pangilinan and Bam Aquino in the 2025 midterm elections, a group of followers of former vice president Leni Robredo, known as the “Kakampinks,” launched a new campaign dubbed IM15M.

Named after the 15 million Filipinos that voted Robredo in the 2022 presidential election, the IM15M is a combination of several organizations, including the Robredo People’s Council (RPC), IMKLeni, Leni Tanging Pagasa (LTP), Bankers for Leni, Youth for Leni, and  representative from Marikina City and Rizal  chapters of Siklistang Pilipino former Bikers for Leni.

In a press conference, each sectoral leader of IM15M expressed their respective stances and dedication to support the candidacy of Kiko-Bam, whom they said are faithful in their duties as lawmakers and who stood with them in the Pink movement during the 2022 election.

The pronouncement was held at Harold’s Hotel rooftop restaurant in Timog Avenue in Quezon City, recently. The simple gathering was funded by some Kakampink philanthropist, as the group claimed

The IMK Leni secretary general Elmer Argano   said, we believe that Kiko and Bam  embody the ideals of “Angat Buhay” and have proven their dedication to uplifting Filipinos, particularly those in marginalized communities.

Many  Senate re-electionists, movie celebrities, online personalities and prospective candidates, aligned with group of traditional politicians were also denounced by IM15M movement as they are known being plagued with corruption, lacking sufficient qualifications, and being charged with plunder.

The names of the candidates which the group strongly rejects from running for public office were not disclosed. The vast majority of our people are aware of the nature of certain political aspirants who are either oblivious of the legislative work or engaged in contentious public events, Nick Malazarte raises a point.

The IM15M highlighted the resilience of the Pink Movement, noting that despite losing the presidential race, their spirit and commitment to meaningful change remain strong.

They believe that the movement has paved a new path forward, showcasing the power of grassroots engagement and ordinary citizens striving for positive change.

The IM15M is calling on all Filipinos who share their vision of inclusivity, integrity, and hope to join them in their mission to build a nation driven by justice, compassion and possibility
