The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) has recognized the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Pampanga 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO) with a Silver Award for its outstanding efforts in efficient and transparent government services, achieving a “Very Satisfactory” rating in the 2023 Report Card Survey (RCS) 2.0.
District Engineer Arnold Ocampo and OIC-Assistant District Engineer Agustin Dagsaan Jr. accepted the award, expressing gratitude for the recognition and noting that it reflects their office’s dedication to streamlining government processes and delivering efficient public service.
“This achievement highlights our team’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of service, even during operational disruptions. We are committed to providing timely, transparent, and accessible services to all our stakeholders,” Ocampo said.
Ocampo reported that the DEO was among the select few agencies to earn an overall rating above 90%, with scores of 27.3% on the Institutionalization of Republic Act 11032, 25.85% on the Survey Questionnaire, 28.57% on the Inspection Checklist, 10% on Client Satisfaction Measurement, and 1.5% on External Recognition, culminating in an impressive 93.22% overall rating.
Additionally, eight other DPWH offices were recognized, including the Central Office, Regional Office 12, Agusan Del Norte DEO, Ilocos Norte 2nd DEO, Laguna 3rd DEO, Negros Occidental 2nd DEO, South Manila DEO, and Zambales 1st DEO.
The survey evaluates compliance with Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the “Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018,” which aims to streamline processes across government offices and enhance public service delivery.
