Ten law offenders arrested in Bulacan

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the arrest of five drug peddlers, one gun law offender, and four illegal gamblers on September 27 & 28, 2024.

According to the reports submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, Provincial Director of PNP Bulacan, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Meycauayan, Baliuag, and Bulakan City Police Station wherein five (5) drug peddlers were arrested. Seized during the operations were nine (9) plastic sachets of suspected shabu, two (2) medium size zip locked plastic containing suspected marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, authorities of Angat Police Station conducted a gun buy-bust operation that resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old male suspect. Seized during the operation were one (1) caliber.38 revolver without serial number, four (4) caliber.38 live ammunition, and buy-bust money. A criminal complaint for violation of R.A. 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunitions) is being prepared for filing in court against the arrested suspect.

On the other hand, the authorities of San Jose del Monte City Police Station conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation, resulting in the arrest of four (4) illegal gamblers. They were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game “cara y cruz”. The confiscated evidence is playing coins and betting money in different denominations.
