Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs, including the arrest of twenty drug peddlers on September 24 and 25, 2024.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, Officer-in-Charge of Bulacan PNP, a total of three (3) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of (20) grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of one hundred thirty-six thousand pesos (Php 136,000), one (1) piece improvised hand gun (sumpak), one (1) shotgun bullet and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the San Jose Del Monte City Police Station that resulted in the arrest of alias Nard, and alias John, that transpired in Brgy. Tungkong Mangga, CSJDM, Bulacan, at about 12:30 a.m. of September 25, 2024.
Additionally, eighteen (18) more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bocaue, Pulilan, Sta. Maria, Bustos, Guiguinto, Angat, Marilao, Obando, and Malolos City Police Station. Fifty-nine (59) sachets of suspected shabu, and three (3) sachets containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana with a total Standard Drug Price of (Php 266,400) and, one (1) black sling bag, one (1) caliber .22 (Smith and Wesson) with five (5) .22 live ammunition, one (1) caliber .38 revolver (Smith and Wesson) with two (2) cal.38 live ammunition, one (1) .22 caliber with serial number 030872 with one (1) piece live ammunition, marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
