Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs, including the arrest of fifteen drug peddlers, eight wanted felons, and one illegal gambler on August 20 and 21, 2024.
In a reports received by PCol Satur Ediond, OIC of Bulacan PNP, a total of five sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of (15.81) grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of one hundred seven thousand five hundred eight pesos (Php 107,508) and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the Baliwag City Police Station that resulted in the arrest of alias Negro, alias Negra, and alias Bernie, that transpired in Brgy. Pagal, Baliwag, Bulacan, at about 2:30 p.m. of August 20, 2024.
Meanwhile, twelve more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bocaue, San Jose Del Monte, Meycauayan, and Malolos City Police Station. sixteen sachets of suspected shabu, and six sachets containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana with a total Standard Drug Price of (Php 157,438) and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Moreover, eight persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Sta. Maria, Bustos, Marilao, Bulacan PFU, CIDG, Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte City Police Station. All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
On the other hand, an anti-illegal gambling operation was conducted by the Baliwag City Police Station that resulted in the arrest of alias John, 24, who was caught in the act of collecting bet money in an illegal bet game (Bookies). Confiscated evidence consisted of a ballpen, papelitos, and bet money in different denominations.
