Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — The Bulacan police operations led to the apprehension of individuals involved in violating the law on June 5, 2024, and early today. These successful operations resulted in the arrest of drug dealers, wanted persons, and illegal gamblers.
In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, PD Bulacan PPO, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria, Malolos, Meycauayan, Calumpit, San Ildefonso, and Baliwag City Police Station wherein twelve (12) drug peddlers were arrested. Seized during the operations were twenty-eight (28) plastic sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for court filing.
Moreover, four (4) persons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by tracker teams of Meycauayan, Pulilan, Plaridel, and Hagonoy City/Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.
Furthermore, three (3) individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activity, “cara-y-cruz,” in Brgy. San Martin, CSJDM, Bulacan. The authorities apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of “pangara” and bet money in different denominations. The suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting unit for proper disposition.
