Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan cops carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs valued at 180K including the arrest of several drug dealers and lawbreakers on February 6 and 7, 2024.
In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, said that Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Sta. Maria Police Station conducted a successful drug sting operation that resulted in the arrest of alias Paolo and alias Reymart at around 2:30 a.m. of February 7, 2024, in Brgy. Bagbaguin, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. Confiscated from the suspects were four (4) sachets of suspected shabu, valued at approximately Php 102,000 Standard Drug Price (SDP), one (1) metal coin purse, one (1) unit of yamaha aerox 155 and marked money.
Similarly, seven (7) additional drug dealers were apprehended in a series drug-bust operation by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat, Marilao, San Miguel, and Plaridel Police Station. These operations yielded a total of twenty-one (21) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php 78,040 (SDP) and marked money. The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, Norzagaray Police Station served the arrest warrant to James Buscato, the Top 7 Provincial Level and Top 1 Municipal Level (MWP) of Norzagaray, Bulacan, for the crime of Attempted Rape with no bail recommended. The warrant was issued by the Third Judicial Region, Branch 120, San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan.
On the other hand, tracker team San Jose Del Monte City Police Station, resulted to the successful apprehension of Teddy Laorio listed as the Bustos Top 3 MWP – Provincial Level at Purok 4, Brgy. Paradise III, CSJDM, Bulacan. The arrest stemmed from a warrant issued by the Presiding Judge of RTC, Third Judicial Region, Branch 15, City of Malolos, Bulacan, relative to the crime of Attempted Murder with no recommended bail.
Moreover, eight (8) individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte City, Marilao, Sta. Maria, and Paombong City/Police Station. These individuals are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
