TARLAC CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Tarlac State University (TSU) capacitated Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Organization (ARBO) members on the basics of Digital Marketing.

This is to allow participants from the municipalities of Camiling, Gerona, Sta. Ignacia and Paniqui reach a wider audience, and strengthen their presence in various online platforms.

DTI Tarlac Trade and Industry Development Specialist Paolo Manese said the activity also aims to teach farmers the effective techniques and strategies to maximize their resources online.

It also assists farmers in adapting to the trend of digital marketing brought about by the new technology.

“Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, many of us have preferred shopping online. Digital marketing is eminently a growing trend. We find it important that our ARBOs will now be able to embrace the digital world through this seminar and find its relevance especially when it comes to selling their products,” Manese emphasized.

During the seminar, TSU Resource Speaker Reissa Joselle Gopez talked about the 4Ps of Digital Marketing and the efficient way to profile their virtual target audience.

The activity was in line with the agency’s Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program in which many farmers in the province were capacitated on different relevant topics to help them become more competitive in the market.
