P267K worth of drugs seized, suspects apprehended

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — In a recent series of intensified police operations by the Bulacan PNP, a significant breakthrough was achieved as they confiscated P267K worth of suspected shabu and arrest of several drug suspects and the apprehension of felons wanted for various crimes on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bulacan PNP director Col. Relly Arnedo stated that at about 12:10 a.m. on July 26, 2023, the Pulilan PS carried out a successful drug sting operation in Brgy. Longos, Pulilan, Bulacan that led to the confiscation of approximately 34.12 grams of suspected shabu, with SDP (standard drug prize) of about two hundred thirty-two thousand pesos (Php 232,000), as well as marked money. The suspect, identified as Algin Cruz (44), a resident of Caingin, Bocaue, was promptly arrested.

Similarly, multiple drug buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel, Bocaue, Angat, and Marilao PS. These operations resulted in the arrest of five (5) more drug suspects and the confiscation of an additional thirty-five thousand Php 35,600 (SDP standard drug prize) worth of suspected shabu and marked money.

Moreover, Marilao police operatives successfully apprehended five illegal drug users who were caught in the act during a “pot session” in Poblacion 1, Marilao. The raid resulted in the confiscation of sachets of suspected shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Further, three (3) felons who were wanted for various crimes were arrested by the dedicated tracker teams of Bulakan, Baliwag, CSJDM, and Marilao PS.
