CAMP Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Nineteen (19) individuals, including five (5) drug peddlers on the PNP/PDEA watchlist, were arrested in continuous police operations conducted by the Bulacan police on May 11, 2023 and early this morning.
PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, reported that five (5) of eight (8) drug dealers arrested were listed in the unified PNP/PDEA and BADAC drug watchlists. Melanie Borlado (50) and Amor Sta. Cruz (58) were arrested by the operatives of Santa Maria PS through separate buy-bust operations, while Meycauayan PS conducted two (2) buy-bust operations that resulted in the arrest of three (3) persons, Pandi PS arrested two (2), and Bocaue arrested an individual all for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165, confiscating a total of thirty-six (36) sachets of suspected shabu.
Additionally, six (6) wanted individuals were arrested by the 1st and 2nd PMFC tracker teams, San Ildefonso, Santa Maria, Meycauayan and Malolos police stations. Among the arrested were Angel Kenneth Cano (21), Marjorie Adornado (26) and Disere Gomez (40) for the crime of qualified theft. All accused were detained for proper disposition prior to being turned over to the court of origin.
