Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs and the arrest of ten (10) drug personalities, seven (7) wanted felons, and five (5) illegal gamblers on August 9, 2024, and early today.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Satur Edionf, OIC of Bulacan PNP, a total of thirteen (13) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of sixty (60) grams with a Standard Drug Price of four hundred eight thousand (Php 408,000), and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Jose Del Monte City Police Station that resulted in the arrest of six (6) drug suspects, that transpired in Brgy. Grace Ville, CSJDM, Bulacan, at about 9:00 p.m. of August 9, 2024.
Meanwhile, four (4) more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Baliuag, Angat, and Balagtas Police Station. eight ( 8 ) sachets of suspected shabu and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for court filing.
Moreover, seven (7) persons wanted for various crimes and offenses were arrested by tracker teams of the Sta. Maria, Calumpit, Bocaue, Pandi, and Bulakan Police Station by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the court.
Furthermore, five (5) individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activity, “cara-y-cruz,” in Brgy. Bagong Buhay, CSJDM, Bulacan. The authorities apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of “pangara” and bet money in different denominations. The suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting unit for proper disposition.
