CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Three truck drivers were arrested in a joint operation for nationwide implementation of Anti-Truck Overloading Mobile Enforcement (ATOME), while four drug peddlers including eight wanted felons, and two others were arrested in the Bulacan PNP’s anti-criminality operations on March 17, 2022.
In reports to Col. Rommel Ochave, the said joint operation was conducted by Bocaue PS, LTO, PDEA and NLEX in partnership with DPWH along Weighbridge Station of NLEX Southbound, Brgy Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan.
During the nationwide implementation of Anti-Truck Overloading Mobile Enforcement (ATOME) in relation to the implementation of R.A 10586 (Anti- drunk and drugged driving act) and other related laws was resulted to the arrest of three truck drivers for violation of RA 4136, RA 8794, Sec 5 of RA 10586 and Sec 15 of RA 9165.
Arrested suspects were identified as Ronie Tapay of Alangan, Limay, Bataan; Marlon Urbano and Zaldy Ogalesco both of San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
Said suspects have undergone initial screening for drug testing conducted by a forensic officer from PDEA Central Office which gave positive results for the presence of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride.
Similarly, a series of anti-illegal drug bust conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Paombong, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Malolos, Meycauayan PS resulted to the arrest of Diana Marie Cruz alias Dian of Tikay, Malolos; Jayson Tipgos of Gumaoc West, CSJDM; John Mathew Calma of Tabang, Plaridel; and Gregorio Dizon alias Greg of Malhacan, Meycauayan City. Seized evidence were eighteen sachets of shabu and bust money.
Meanwhile, tracker teams of Marilao, Baliwag, Guiguinto, San Ildefonso, Bocaue, CSJDM and Meycauayan City PS arrested wanted felons by virtue of Warrant of Arrest (WOA).
They were identified as Dorothy Uy for Illegal Recruitment; Sonny Mateo for Reckless Imprudence Resulting to Serious Physical Injuries and Damage to Property; Edgardo Bartolome for Violation of BP 22; Rommel Cruz for Qualified Theft; Rafaelito De Dios for Estafa; Marcelo Taghap for Simple Disobedience to Person in Authority; Renato Rivera Jr for Alarms And Scandals; and Ella Yasmine Antonio for Estafa.
Further, prompt response of CSJDM and Pandi PS resulted to the arrest of Nesty Rodelas of San Rafael IV, CSJDM for physical hitting a child and Niño Cutamora Cacarong Matanda, Pandi, Bulacan for stabbing his drinking buddy due to a heated argument. Appropriate criminal complaints were filed against said individuals.
