Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – In a continuous effort to combat illegal drugs, operatives of the Cabanatuan City Police Station arrested three high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation at around 1:30 AM on March 21, 2025, in Brgy. Bantug Bulalo, Cabanatuan City.
The suspects, identified as alias “Wel” of Brgy. Bantug Bulalo and alias “Athan” and alias “Jar” of Brgy. Bitas, were caught in possession of 5.06 kilograms of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of Php 607,200.00.
Authorities ensured proper handling of evidence, marking and inventorying the seized drugs on-site in the presence of witnesses before bringing them to the Cabanatuan City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
PBGEN JEAN S. FAJARDO, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), lauded the operatives for their unwavering dedication.
“This successful operation sends a strong message—there is no place for illegal drugs in Central Luzon. We will hunt down and hold accountable those who dare threaten the safety and future of our communities. Our fight against drugs is relentless, and we will not stop until our streets are free from this menace.”
The arrested individuals are now facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
