CAMP General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — Ten (10) drug peddlers, eight illegal gamblers and seven wanted persons were arrested in the unrelenting police operations of Bulacan PNP on December 22, 2022 and early morning on Friday.
Based on the report submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, ten drug suspects were arrested in different anti-drug busts conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Baliwag, Bocaue, Norzagaray, Marilao, Santa Maria, San Ildefonso, and San Jose del Monte. Seized were a total of fifty (50) sachets of suspected shabu, coin purse, drug paraphernalia, motorcycle, and buy-bust money.
On the other hand, eight more felons were collared in series of anti-illegal gambling operation conducted by operatives of Santa Maria, Guiguinto, and Meycauayan PS. They were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activities ‘Tong-its’ and (cara y cruz). Confiscated were three one-peso coin used as “pangara”, set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations
Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being readied for filing in court.
On the other hand, seven persons wanted by law were arrested in different manhunt operations by the tracker team of Municipal/City Police Stations of Marilao, Hagonoy, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Baliwag and Bulacan 2nd PMFC with joint elements of Pandi MPS. They were arrested for crimes of Murder; Theft; Qualified Theft; Estafa; and Violation of BP 22. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
The string of operations by Bulacan police is in line with the C, PNP’s marching order, which was effectively made clear by the Regional Director of PRO 3 PBGen Cesar Pasiwen, to remain relentless and vigorous in enforcing preventive measures against all forms of criminality in order to ensure a safe and peaceful holiday season.
