Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Authorities apprehended two individuals classified as High-Value Individuals (HVI) and confiscated illegal drugs worth over Php 540,000 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, early Thursday (July 18).
In his report to PRO3 Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr, Pampanga PPO Director PCol Jay Dimaandal detailed that joint elements of San Fernando CPS and PDEU Pampanga PPO conducted a successful buy-bust operation in Brgy. San Agustin, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
This operation led to the arrest of “Badet,” 39, and “Rex,” 43, and the seizure of 80 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of Php 544,000.
Appropriate charges for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects.
Hidalgo commended the officers involved in the operation and emphasized the importance of public cooperation in the fight against illegal drugs.
“We urge the community to continue providing relevant information and support to help us in our mission to eradicate illegal drugs and ensure the safety and security of our region,” Hidalgo stated.
