Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two high-value individuals (HVI) were arrested by authorities and substantial amount of suspected shabu were confiscated during an anti-illegal drug operation in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on Wednesday night, July 3.
PRO3 Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr said that operatives of the Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the City of San Fernando Police Station launched a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Quebiawan, City of San Fernando, Pampanga that led to the capture of “Tastas,” a 32-year-old man and alias “Ris,” a 33-year-old, caretaker, and confiscation of 160 grams of illegal drugs with standard drug price of Php 1,088,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violation of RA 9165 are being prepared against the suspects for court referral.
Hidalgo said that the successful operation highlights the continued dedication and vigilance of Central Luzon cops in combating the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region. “The arrest of these high-value individuals is a significant step towards maintaining peace and order in the community,” he added.
