Camp General Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Eighteen drug personalities, and nine wanted persons were arrested in different police operations on the 3RD day of Bulacan PNP Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) against illegal drugs.
In reports submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, OIC Bulacan PPO, different buy-bust operations were conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Miguel, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Malolos, Pandi, San Rafael, Guiguinto, Bulakan, and Hagonoy City Police Station wherein eighteen drug peddlers were arrested. Seized during the operations were sixty-eight (68) plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of (Php 94,012), assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Moreover, nine persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of the Bulacan 1st and 2nd PMFC, Angat, Baliuag, San Miguel, Bulakan, and Norzagaray City Police Station. They were identified as alias Michael and alias Marlon arrested for “Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004” (RA 9262); alias Robert for “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”; alias Rocky for Theft; alias Dioscoro for Anti-Carnapping Act; alias Jayson for “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002″; alias Jelly for Qualified Theft; alias Jebong for Physical Injuries; and alias Miya for Murder.
All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
