SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE (PIA) — About 1,500 residents from eight neighboring towns and city of Subic Bay Freeport Zone in Bataan and Zambales received free health and social services during the LAB for All caravan held at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center.

Spearheaded by First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos, the caravan aims to bring essential government services closer to underserved and remote communities nationwide.

In her message, the First Lady underscored the value of collective action in community development and service delivery.

“LAB for All is Love in Action. Subic has always represented strength and transformation from being a former military base to becoming an economic zone. Subic proves that when people work together, communities thrive,” she said.

The First Lady added that LAB for All reflects the Bagong Pilipinas initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and thanked government and private sector partners and volunteers who supported the caravan.

“This is what Bagong Pilipinas is all about. It’s not just slogan, it’s not just service, it’s not noise. It’s about impact,” she pressed.

During the caravan, the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation provided consultations, laboratory tests, and medicines under its Yaman ng Kalusugan or YAKAP and Guaranteed and Accessible Medications for Outpatient Treatment or GAMOT programs, while the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office distributed Charitimba which are food packs in buckets.
