CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga (PIA) — First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos led the turn-over of Bagong Pilipinas Mobile Clinics to 14 provinces in Northern Luzon.

Recipients include Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Apayao, Cagayan, Quirino, Isabela, and Nueva Vizcaya.

The turnover coincided with the groundbreaking ceremony of the Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center.

Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa said the initiative was inspired by the First Lady’s Lab For All, a health and social program in communities.

“These endeavors mark a pivotal step towards the realization of Universal Health Care in our country. Together, let us continue to work to ensure quality healthcare is not just a privilege, but a fundamental right for all Filipinos,” Herbosa pressed.

The First Lady handed over the mobile clinics of the seven provinces of Central Luzon namely Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales last month.

They are fully equipped for medical, diagnostic, and referral services to bring healthcare to Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas.
