Senator Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino, along with local officials, conducted a series of relief operations in the flood-affected areas of Pampanga and Bulacan on Saturday.
A total of 1,100 families in the said provinces received relief goods through the initiative of Senator Tolentino.
First stop was in Northville 9 Multi-Purpose Building in Calumpit, Bulacan, where Patrick Tolentino son of the senator spearheaded the distribution accompanied by Mayor Lem Faustino.
350 boxes of relief goods were ceremoniously turned over to assist the families who are currently displaced because of floodings brought by Typhoon Carina and heavy monsoon rain.
Mayor Faustino expressed his gratitude for the timely aid of Sen Tolentino as the community continues to recover from recent flooding.
The relief operations then moved to Masantol, Pampanga, where 350 boxes of goods were also distributed.
The focus here was on ensuring that essential supplies reached those in need, with a straightforward turnover of goods.
Relief operation final stop is in Macabebe, Pampanga wherein Tolentino’s team and Congresswoman Anna York Bondoc was on hand at the Caduang Tete Covered Court for another relief effort.
This event saw the distribution of 400 boxes of relief goods, accompanied by a ceremonial turnover.
The aid is expected to greatly benefit the local residents as they deal with the aftermath of the floods.
Tolentino’s relief efforts were a testament to the ongoing commitment of our leaders and community partners in addressing the needs of those affected by recent floods.
In his message, Tolentino says he will ensure the senate support for flood mitigating programs budget for Pampanga and Bulacan.
