In recognition of its vital support in the implementation of the Family Food Packs (FFP) program, a key initiative of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) β Field Office III, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) β Regional Office III was honored with the Pasasalamat Award on April 22, 2025.
Assistant Regional Director Melquiades Sto. Domingo accepted the award on behalf of the Office, underscoring the strong inter-agency collaboration in responding to the needs of communities during times of crisis.
Joined by Equipment Management Division (EMD) Chief Francisco Licup, Jr., whose fleet of equipment played a key role in the timely assembly and distribution of relief goods, the award was given to the DPWH for its critical logistical support to communities affected by successive weather disturbances, highlighting the importance of unity and coordinated disaster response.
