The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region III marked a significant milestone in its Quality Management System (QMS) by obtaining ISO 9001:2015 recertification from TUV NORD Philippines, Inc., following a successful audit of both its Regional Office and District Engineering Offices (DEOs) in 2025.

The awarding ceremony took place on July 7 in Malolos City, as part of the departmentโ€™s 7th Regional Staff Meeting hosted by the three Bulacan DEOs, with Director Roseller Tolentino, Assistant Director Melquiades Sto. Domingo, and QMS Regional Coordinator Jayson Jauco leading the event.

In his message, Tolentino emphasized the importance of upholding quality systems as a foundation for consistent, high-level public service delivery, noting that adherence to such standards not only ensures operational efficiency but also builds public trust and accountability across all levels of the organization.

TUV NORD Philippines, Inc., an internationally recognized certifying body, assessed DPWH Region III based on globally accepted quality management principles, validating the office’s consistent implementation of efficient systems and customer-focused services in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Furthermore, the Regional Public Affairs and Information Office (RPAIO) acknowledged the top-performing District Public Affairs and Information Units (DPAIUs) in the Quarterly Public Information and Communications Excellence (PICE) Awards, while the Finance Division recognized DEOs that achieved the Highest Absorptive Capacity and Disbursement Rates for both current and prior years.
