73 DPWH Region 3 employees receive Service Award

Seventy-three employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Central Luzon were honored as Service Award recipients during the 126th Founding Anniversary celebration held on Monday at the agency’s Regional Office in Pampanga.
Atty. Aikko Kris Argel-Mallari, OIC-Administrative Division Chief, and Human Resource and Management Section Chief Yozelle Roque handed out certificates of recognition to the recipients, with Regional Director Roseller Tolentino and Assistant Director Melquiades Sto. Domingo leading the ceremony.
The awarding ceremony aimed to recognize servant-leaders in the Regional and District Engineering Offices, with over 40 years of service in the government, for their hard work, dedication, and contribution to the organization’s success.
This year’s Service Award recipients include RD Tolentino and ARD Sto. Domingo, Bataan 1st District Engineer Erlindo R. Flores, Jr., Bataan 2nd District Engineer Ulysses Llado, and Bulacan 2nd Assistant District Engineer Edwin AbengaΓ±a, to name a few.
The celebration started with a Unity Run and Zumba session, in which employees from DPWH Region III’s Regional and District Engineering Offices participated, marking the beginning of day-long event.
Tolentino said part of the celebration is theΒ one-day mini trade fair organized by theΒ Samahan ng mga Kawaning Nagkakaisa – Regional Federation of Employees Association (SAMAKANA-RFEA) held at the Regional Office gymnasium.
The event featured products from the seven provinces of Central Luzon,Β including processed food, delicacies, and agricultural products, available for purchase, aiming to highlight the diversity and quality of goods across the region and providing DPWH employees with an opportunity to support these products.
Fifteen of the seventeen offices, including the Regional Office, actively participated in showcasing their local specialties.
