The SAMAhan ng mga KAwaning NAgkakaisa (SAMAKANA) of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) โ€“ Pampanga 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO) recently conducted the โ€œGamit Pang-Eskwela, Handog ay Sayaโ€ program, donating school and office supplies to San Nicolas Elementary School.

The activity, part of the District Engineers League of the Philippines, Inc.’s (DELP) annual initiative, involved the distribution of pencils, ballpens, pad paper, bond paper, ink, and crayons to students and faculty, who expressed appreciation for the support.

District Engineer Gregorio Audea, Jr. said that the outreach program is part of the agencyโ€™s ongoing efforts to support the Department of Education (DepEd) in strengthening basic education by providing essential learning materials.

โ€œIโ€™m happy that our office had the opportunity to assist San Nicolas Elementary School. Through modest but meaningful contributions like this, we aim to ease the burden on our educators and help enhance the learning experience of students,โ€ Audea said.

The initiative is one of several efforts by the Pampanga 2nd DEO, in partnership with DELP, to support government programs and contribute to community development as the new school year begins.
