The evaluation, conducted by Lead Auditor Engr. Victor Ong, Jr. and Audit Member Engr. Jorge Marciano Alberto confirmed the office’s compliance with and improvements in ISO 9001:2015 requirements, noting its strict adherence to the new standards and format as demonstrated by improvements from the previous IQA.

 

District Engineer Almer Miranda expressed gratitude to the audit team for their positive feedback, stating that the evaluation results will enhance the office’s services and support its alignment with the DPWH 2040 objectives.

 

“Through this assessment, we have successfully demonstrated our commitment to fulfilling our mandate and providing better services. The audit team’s feedback underscores our significant improvements and our progress towards meeting the department’s strategic goals,” Miranda said.

 

Building on this, Assistant District Engineer Alfie Lejarde emphasized the importance of adhering to departmental mandates and adapting to evolving standards to improve employee performance.

 

“Being part of the top management, it is essential for us to oversee all organizational directives and ensure that all employees embrace the improvements implemented by the department. Our quarterly seminars, which are already showing positive results, play a crucial role in this process,” Lejarde said.

 

The internal review process is conducted in various DPWH offices to evaluate their performance and ensure compliance with the quality management system.
